The group also provides specialized palliative care for cancer patients. Active in community outreachIowa Cancer Specialists is active in community outreach in cancer prevention and support programs. The group sponsors the annual Susan B. Komen Race for the Cure in the Quad Cities and is a supporter of the Quad Cities ‘Gilda’s Club,’ a cancer support group. Insurance informationIowa Cancer Specialists will submit all insurance for its patients unless requested not to do so. New patients should give the receptionist their insurance card on their initial visit so the office can make a copy. The card will be returned to you. If you have an insurance change, please notify our offi ce. If you have a cancer policy, please notify our staff so we can provide you the needed forms.
